I’ve been building, breaking, and learning from computer systems for as long as I can remember, and I’m fortunate to still spend my working life doing that.

I am a technical leader working on infrastructure, security, and identity systems at scale. My current work focuses on device trust, autonomous infrastructure, and transforming how my organization works with AI without losing sight of security, reliability, or good judgment.

I work at Airbnb as a Senior Staff Engineer. Any views or opinions expressed on this site are my own and are not necessarily shared by my employer.

Outside of work I write and speak about technical leadership, staff-plus engineering, security, infrastructure, and the places where technology and organizations collide. I am a board member of Mac Admins Open Source and have written or contributed to several open source projects over the years.
